Moonler Supports Wildfire and PM 2.5 Response Officers in Chiang Mai 2026
Because the forest is where everything we make begins.
Moonler has worked with wood for 17 years. We understand that the forest is not simply a source of material — it is the living foundation of the community we are part of. When Chiang Mai faced the crisis of wildfires and PM 2.5 pollution, the officers working on the ground were protecting something all of us depend on.
Moonler Collection Co., Ltd. delivered rice, drinking water, and dry food to support the officers carrying out this mission.
A crisis every person in Chiang Mai felt
In early 2026, Northern Thailand including Chiang Mai faced one of its most severe wildfire and PM 2.5 crises in recent memory. Air quality in many areas exceeded safe health levels for weeks. Wildfire response officers and local personnel worked every day under difficult conditions to protect communities and the remaining forested land.
The soil that grows the tree is the same soil that sustains our craftsmen
Moonler grew from Doi Saket, Chiang Mai. Every piece we send into the world begins with Chamchuri wood grown in Thai soil, and with the hands of local craftsmen who understand this material better than anyone.
We believe that a brand which takes responsibility for the place it came from is a brand that deserves to be trusted. Supporting these officers was not a campaign. It was simply what we should do as part of this community.
Moonler's part in this moment
Moonler was founded in 2008 in Doi Saket, Chiang Mai, producing furniture from commercially cultivated Chamchuri wood through the hands of local craftsmen. The brand has always worked to minimise production waste, support craftsmen's livelihoods, and care for the community surrounding its workshop.
When this community needed support, standing aside was not an option.
Thank you to everyone who went out to protect Chiang Mai.
