A New Collection, and a New Conversation with the World
Lanna craft is coming to Milan. From 21 to 26 April 2026, Moonler will present a new furniture collection at Salone del Mobile Milano. the world's most important international furniture and design exhibition. We will be at Hall 07, D10, Fiera Milano, Rho, supported by the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), Thailand.
This is not simply an exhibition. It is the moment Lanna craft introduces itself to the global design community on its largest stage.
What is Salone del Mobile Milano
Salone del Mobile Milano is the world's leading furniture and design trade fair, held annually in Milan, Italy. It attracts over 300,000 visitors from more than 160 countries each year, including architects, interior designers, hospitality specifiers, retailers, and international media. For any furniture brand with serious international ambitions, Salone del Mobile is the definitive stage.
In 2026, Moonler brings handcrafted Chamchuri wood furniture from Doi Saket, Chiang Mai, to that stage for the first time.
A New Collection Born in a Rice Field, Presented in Milan
The collection Moonler presents at Salone del Mobile Milano 2026 was made in the same way every piece of Moonler furniture has always been made slowly, by hand, with deep respect for the material and the craft.
Chamchuri wood, known internationally as Acacia or Rain Tree, is a tropical species commercially cultivated in Thailand. Its interlocking grain of darker streaks running through warm light-brown tones is unique to every piece. No factory can replicate it. No two pieces are identical.
The new collection continues Moonler's core philosophy as a Wellness Object Maker designing objects that do something to the person in the room. Not just objects that look beautiful. Objects that the nervous system recognises, responds to, and rests in.
The Warmest Sun, the Strongest Grain
There is a particular quality of light in Chiang Mai that enters the workshop every morning. It moves across the surface of Chamchuri wood and reveals things no photograph can fully prepare you for — the depth of the grain, the warmth of the colour, the evidence of every hand that shaped it.
That is what Moonler brings to Milan. Not a product launch. A transfer of feeling, from a rice field in Northern Thailand to the floor of Fiera Milano.
